Neuro-Lymphatic & Glymphatic Therapy Course | Charleston SC | April 1–2
Practical Applications of Neuro-Lymphatic Therapy | Charleston, South Carolina | April 1–2
Join Monarch Continuing Education in Charleston, SC, April 1–2 for a live, hands-on Neuro-Lymphatic Therapy continuing education course designed for rehabilitation and manual therapy professionals interested in the relationship between the lymphatic system, glymphatic system, central nervous system (CNS), and neurological function.
This 15-hour continuing education course explores the emerging science surrounding CNS lymphatics and glymphatic function and translates that knowledge into practical clinical applications. Participants will examine neurological and neurodegenerative conditions including multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and other degenerative processes affecting the brain and central nervous system.
The course combines current research with practical manual therapy techniques, including applications of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), cranial anatomy, lymphatic anatomy, soft-tissue techniques, exercise, patient education, and home-care strategies. Participants will learn how to evaluate neurological presentations and develop treatment approaches intended to support lymphatic and glymphatic movement while addressing functional limitations commonly seen in neurological rehabilitation.
Hands-on instruction includes neuro-lymphatic treatment protocols based on cranial, CNS, and lymphatic anatomy, as well as considerations for patients who also have lymphedema, lymph node removal, or lymphatic impairment. The course also reviews rapidly evolving current research examining the relationship between CNS lymphatics, glymphatic clearance, neurological disease, and cumulative degenerative processes.
Course topics include: CNS and brain lymphatic anatomy; the glymphatic system; Manual Lymphatic Drainage for neurological populations; MS, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease; neurological rehabilitation; cranial and lymphatic manual therapy; lymphedema considerations; patient self-care and education; soft-tissue mobilization; exercise strategies; and current neuro-lymphatic research.
15 NCBTMB Continuing Education Hours | Live, In-Person Training | Charleston, South Carolina | April 1–2
This course is especially relevant for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, massage therapists, Certified Lymphedema Therapists (CLTs), and other qualified rehabilitation and manual therapy professionals seeking advanced education in neuro-lymphatic and glymphatic approaches.
